Interactive DIY

Interaction is an important dynamic in a retail environment, but having associates available to respond to each customer immediately can be a real obstacle.  This company was looking for a better way to help shoppers design and plan their outdoor DIY projects, while achieving labor and operational savings for the retailer.

VI responded to the challenge by developing an interactive, self-serve video kiosk that enables the consumer to educate themselves, identify the materials needed, and locate them in the store.  This compact unit was seamlessly integrated into a larger merchandising presentation that reduces the need to rely on store employees to guide the transaction.
